The National Salvadoran American Association (NSAA) participated in the Salvadoran American Congressional Breakfast Commemorating the 205th Anniversary of El Salvador's Independence, alongside Salvadoran business leaders, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and elected officials.

NSAA issued the following statement, "Celebrating our independence means more than marking a historic date. 𝗜𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽, 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆."

We are especially grateful to our NSAA leadership who joined us for this important occasion, including Francisco Semião, NSAA Chair; Carmen E. Rodríguez, NSAA Executive Director; and Board Members #MaríaJoséSolisZelaya and #MaríaRíos.

We were honored to stand alongside Lisa McFarren Polgar, Associate Director of the PanAmerican-PanAfrican Association; #EduardoLopezRajo, Executive Director of Central American Coalition USA; #AzharDabdoub, Consular Member of El Salvador; #AlbaRuizVillalobos, Financial Advisor with Líderes Salvadoreños Unidos; and Tony Villalobos Langlois, General Manager of Toro Taxes in New Jersey. We also appreciated the participation of #SalvadorGómezGóchez, Presidential Commissioner for the Attention of Salvadorans Abroad.

Together, 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝟳𝟳,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗣𝗦.
